Gymnastics improves muscle strength, is fantastic for balance and posture, and develops body awareness. Further, it improves flexibility which assists with injury prevention and builds a platform of mobility for life. Gymnastics is renowned as the foundation of sport- as it builds the physical tools needed to excel in any sport.
CREATING LIFE SKILLS
Gymnastics is a challenging sport, skills take time and effort to master. Children will develop persistence as they continue to strive towards their goals and will learn the direct relationship between effort and results. There are few better ways for a child to see how hard work and determination pays off!
At GEM, skills are learned through progressions. By teaching in this manner it enables children to understand their end goal, and how they are getting closer to reaching it. With each small step, they become more confident in themselves and this carries over into all aspects of their lives.
LOVE WHAT YOU DO
Jumping, tumbling, swinging, and balancing – there is so much fun in one lesson! The most important thing for us at GEM, is that the kids are learning and having fun. When sport is made enjoyable kids will stick to it, learn more, make better friends, and feel more comfortable to express themselves and try new things.

REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE
Each registered member of Gymnastics NSW must pay an annual registration fee that covers their personal insurance while participating in gymnastics. By registering as a member, participants also receive access to exclusive offers, competitions and events.
If you ever decide to move clubs, your insurance and registration payment is transferable to any gymnastics club that is affiliated with Gymnastics Australia.
Class payments cover your child’s gymnastics lessons. At GEM, if you enjoy your first free trial lesson and wish to continue with us, we will invoice you for the remainder of the term. You can pay your invoice in full, or pay it off throughout the term, as long as you keep one week in advance at all times.
